Parameters
Understanding Pip Values
- For pairs where USD is the quote currency (e.g., EUR/USD): Pip value = $10 per standard lot
- For JPY pairs: 1 pip = 0.01 (not 0.0001)
- The pip value changes based on the exchange rate for non-USD quote pairs
- Mini lot (0.1) = 1/10th the pip value; Micro lot (0.01) = 1/100th
